Perfect fit for larger hips/thighs

Arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected. Fit is exactly what I wanted. It is fitted but still buttons comfortably. Sleeves are a perfect length as is the entire length of jacket. I ordered a size large. I’m 5’5” 170lbs and I carry my weight in my hips and thighs. This jacket hits at a perfect spot to be flattering.

I really like the fit. I used the chest size to order because if I order hip size would be too large in shoulders. I can just barely button at the waist but I don't button my jackets anyway. I love because long jacket and covers my hips. Light wool could probably get away with in summer if in very cool spaces. I purchased along with white lightweght turtleneck and black pleated wide legged yoga style pants for job interviewing. Needed to update professional wardrobe. I'd buy again in different color.
